Originally from Colorado, Bill has been in the hardwood floor industry since his early twenties. After marrying his wife Kathleen, they established Shadetree in Arizona and built a strong, solid business. In January 2004, they welcomed daughter Sara and chose to raise her near family in Michigan, Kathleen's home state. Quick to take action, they arrived in Traverse City in May 2004 and established "Shadetree Midwest", close to family, friends and water! Avid outdoors people, they enjoy fishing, biking and hiking the region and are fast establishing roots here.
